The National Nuclear Security Administration’s (NNSA) Office of Radiological Security (ORS) works with government, law enforcement, businesses, and key strategic partners to reduce radiological risk by providing world-class security technologies, expertise, training, source recovery, and alternative technology strategies to users of radioactive sources.

ORS also provides workshops and seminars in major urban areas throughout the U.S. where users of radioactive materials, first responders, and city leaders share information and learn about the newest technologies and strategies to reduce the risk of radiological terrorism.
